Conveyor Technique PF30 (Power & Free)

Power & Free conveyor systems combine the cardan chain from a single conveyor with “Free” trolleys that bear the load. Typical applications are paint lines where products must be transported to different process areas and where accumulation is required in e.g. ovens and buffer zones.

This type of conveyor is also highly suited to assembly lines.

Conveyor Technique PF68 (Power & Free)

Power & Free conveyor systems combine the cardan chain from a single conveyor with “Free” trolleys that bear the load.

Typical applications are paint lines where products must be transported to different process areas and where accumulation is required in e.g. ovens and buffer zones. This type is also highly suited to assembly lines.

The PF68 Conveyor is comprised of two profiles. In the upper “Power” profile, a cardan chain runs a track with a carrier plate attached in a fixed section. In the lower “Free” section, the trolley is moved around the entire system. The chain and carrier trolleys are connected by swivel-type carrier plates. The connection is possible when the carrier plate remains in the lowest position and can be attached to the carrier trolley. Front trolleys are released when they arrive at a closed accumulation stop or move forward to a rear carrier trolley on a trolley parked in front. The carrier plate will pivot upwards and be released from the front carrier trolley.

The PF68 accumulation stops have a minimum number of moving parts and are thus easy to maintain.

The accumulation system and accumulation stops ensure the carrier trolleys are removed from the cardan chain and stored temporarily, which allows them to remain “parked” in a 30°, 45°, 60°, 90° or 120° buffer storage system or even a linear buffer.

Conveyor Technique PF80 (Power & Free)

Power & Free conveyor systems combine the cardan chain from a single conveyor with “Free” trolleys that run on a separate profile, which carry the products.

Typical applications are paint lines where products must be transported to different process areas and where accumulation is required in e.g. ovens and buffer zones. This type is also highly suited to assembly lines.

Transports up to 6,000 kg at up to 250° heat

Durable, powerful and able to withstand even the most demanding conditions, with a working load of up to 6,000 kg. The PF80 conveyor is comprised of two profiles. In the upper “Power” profile, a cardan chain runs on a track with a carrier plate attached in a fixed section. In the underlying “Free” profile, the carrier trolley is moved around the entire system. The cardan chain and trolleys are connected to a lock system, and the accumulation mechanism is integrated into the carrier trolley. When the front carrier trolley reaches the accumulation plate or a closed accumulation stop, the accumulation mechanism is activated which releases the carrier trolley from the carrier plate in the cardan chain. The accumulation system and accumulation stops ensure the carrier trolleys are removed from the cardan chain and stored temporarily, which allows them to remain “parked” in a 30°, 45°, 60°, 90° or 120° buffer storage system or even a linear buffer.
